Yesterday was full of such sweet, gently nursing moments that any thoughts of weaning are put out of my mind for now. It started with our usual calm couch-time wake-up nursing that we do every morning, then progressed to nursing the plastic dinosaurs (with PC commenting for them, "Mmmmmm. Delicious."), and then nursing in the grass under the first sunny sky we'd seen in months while taking a break from yardwork. As we were lolly-ing around on the grass, I thought, neither of us are ready to wean.
At the same time, I realized I needed to have more control over nursings, and decided if she was rough, I'd just end the nursing. But she must have read my mind, because she was gentle and polite all day!
It's nice to hear for y'all that your toddlers are that way too. I figured we weren't alone, but it's nice to get the confirmation.
